“CONTEST WIN A $5,000 TRAVEL VOUCHER BY LE LUNETIER”

RULES

The contest “CONTEST WIN A $5,000 TRAVEL VOUCHER BY LE LUNETIER” (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is organized by Le Lunetier Therrien Inc. (hereinafter “Le Lunetier”). It is valid from December 1, 2024, 7:00 AM (EST) to February 28, 2025, 5:00 PM (EST) (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to any person residing in Quebec and aged eighteen (18) years or older who makes a purchase of a complete frame with anti-reflective lenses at one of the fifteen (15) Le Lunetier locations during the Contest Period. Each purchase of a complete frame with anti-reflective lenses gives one chance to win (one (1) frame = one (1) entry).

Employees, agents, and/or representatives of Le Lunetier, or affiliated companies, resellers, as well as anyone living with such an employee, agent, and/or representative, or any immediate family member, are excluded. For the purposes of these participation rules, “immediate family” includes father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, spouse, or common-law partner of such an employee, agent, and/or representative and reseller.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
For each purchase of a complete frame with anti-reflective lenses made at one of the fifteen (15) Le Lunetier locations during the Contest Period, you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest. There is no limit to the number of entries per eligible participant. The participant must fill out the consent form (required by the Quebec Order of Opticians) on Le Lunetier’s website at the following address: https://www.lelunetier.com/en/contest-travel-voucher.

This contest is also open to any person residing in Quebec and aged eighteen (18) years or older who does not make a purchase or whose purchases do not meet the aforementioned conditions. However, this person must write a letter of a minimum of one hundred and fifty (150) words explaining why they wish to participate in this contest and send it by mail to the following address: Le Lunetier Therrien, 101, boul. Saint-Martin O, Laval (QC) H7M 1Y6, Attention: Marketing-Contest. This letter must be received by Le Lunetier at the mentioned address no later than February 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM (EST) and must include the complete contact information of the applicant. Le Lunetier will issue one entry in the name and coordinates provided. Only one request per participant is accepted, and only one entry will be issued for a request. Any request received after the mentioned date will be rejected.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION
One (1) prize will be awarded as part of this Contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Prize”).

The Prize consists of a gift certificate from Voyages Aqua Terra Laval worth $5,000.00, which can be used as a travel voucher. This gift certificate can only be used at Voyages Aqua Terra Laval located at 118 boul. du Curé Labelle, Laval (QC) H7L 2Z4 and can be reached by phone at 450-628-6241. The gift certificate has no expiration date. Certain restrictions may apply. No cash equivalent is available.

DRAWING AND CLAIMING THE PRIZE
The winner will be determined by a computerized draw among all eligible entries. This draw will take place on March 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM (EST) at the Le Lunetier Laval location at 101, boul. Saint-Martin O, Laval (QC) H7M 1Y6. The chances of a participant’s name being drawn depend on the number of eligible entries counted or received.

To be declared the Winner, the participant whose name has been selected in the draw for the Prize must first meet all participation and eligibility conditions set out in these rules. Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in automatic disqualification, and a new draw will take place to determine a new winner.

The winner of the Prize will be contacted by phone during the week following the draw and must claim their prize according to Le Lunetier’s instructions within a maximum of ten (10) days from the date they were first contacted. If the Prize is not claimed within this period, a new draw will take place until a winner is identified.

PUBLICATION OF WINNER’S NAME AND PHOTO
The name and photo of the winner may be published on Le Lunetier’s websites, social media, and other platforms.

MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Participants in this contest who win the Prize consent to the use of their name, photo, and the value of the prize for advertising purposes without any compensation other than the Prize itself. Each entry drawn will be subject to verification by the contest organizers. Thus, incomplete, fraudulent, and non-compliant entries with these rules, as well as pseudonyms, lucky names, individuals under eighteen years old, and any other substitutions will be automatically rejected and will not entitle the participant to a prize. In such cases, the organizers will proceed with a new draw.

The organizers of this contest will not assume any responsibility whatsoever in cases where their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control, a strike, a lockout, or any other labor conflict in the establishments of organizations or businesses whose services will be used for the conduct of this contest.

By participating in this contest, any winning person releases Le Lunetier from any liability for damages they may incur following the acceptance and use of their prize and agrees to sign a declaration and release form before taking possession of their prize. The prize must be accepted as is and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or substituted. Arrangements related to the delivery of the prize must be made in accordance with Le Lunetier. Certain restrictions apply.

Subject to applicable laws, these rules govern all aspects of the “CONTEST WIN A $5,000 TRAVEL VOUCHER BY LE LUNETIER” and bind all participants.

RÉGIE DES ALCOOLS, DES COURSES ET DES JEUX DU QUÉBEC 

A dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Board solely for intervention to attempt to resolve it.
